GTI is a car that does everything well. If you?re looking for back road fun, the 200-hp turbocharged GTI will kick it up a notch and charge ahead with a finely balanced front-drive chassis and class-leading steering feel. When you?re in the mood for calm refinement, the GTI becomes a relaxed tourer. The seats are excellent, fit and finish superb, and if you need to haul a load of wood or a small fridge, it?ll do that too. The icing on the cake is good fuel economy. The limited edition AWD Golf R with its 2.0L turbo juiced to 256 hp is pricey and oh-so sweet.
